1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BeginnersHome, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Accounts and Roles

BeginnersHome supports four account roles: Student, Tutor, Instructor, and Admin.

• You can register and log in immediately after signing up.
• Booking a session or purchasing a course requires your account to be verified by an admin.
• Tutor accounts must submit an ID document and a teaching certificate/qualification, and be approved by an admin before their profile is publicly listed and bookable.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. How Bookings Work

Students submit a learning request describing what they want to learn. An admin reviews the request, may schedule a free demo class with a matched tutor, and — if the student is satisfied — formally assigns the tutor. All scheduling and tutor assignment is admin-managed; students and tutors do not negotiate bookings directly outside the platform.

4. Payments

Session and course payments are processed through eSewa. Prices for sessions are set by admin based on the tutor's employment type and experience; course, notes, and video prices are set by the tutor who created them. Access to paid content (a live session link, a course, a downloadable note, or a video) is granted only after payment is confirmed.

5. Live Sessions

Live classes are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet, depending on what the tutor has configured for that session. You are responsible for having a working device, camera/microphone, and internet connection to join. Meeting links are personal to your booking and should not be shared with anyone outside the session.

6. Tutor Conduct

• Tutors must accurately represent their qualifications, experience, and subject expertise.
• Tutors must honor confirmed session times or communicate changes through admin as early as possible.
• Course, notes, and video content uploaded by tutors must be original or properly licensed, and free of plagiarism.

7. Student Conduct

• Be respectful to tutors and admin staff in all communications.
• Do not share your login, session links, or paid course/video content with people who haven't paid for access.
• Submit accurate information in learning requests so admin can match you with a suitable tutor.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or deactivate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent verification documents, misuse payments, or behave abusively toward other users. See our Refund Policy for what happens to payments if a session or course is cancelled.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
